Getting Started

Sign in with Steam or Discord, link your other gaming accounts, and each one gets its own address

Welcome to GG.email

GG.email gives your gaming identity its own email address. Sign in with a gaming account you already have, and every verified account you link gets an address such as gamername.steam@gg.email. All of your addresses deliver to one inbox.

With GG.email, you can:

  • Let guildmates, teammates and friends reach you by your gamertag, without giving out your personal email
  • Get an address for each platform you link: Steam, Discord, Twitch, Battle.net (with your World of Warcraft characters), Bungie.net, Epic Games and Lichess
  • Read and send mail from all of those addresses in one web inbox
  • Sign in without a password

The Free plan costs nothing. Pro adds more storage, a year of mail history, sending to any email address and your own name@gg.email. See plans and limits.

Creating Your Account

GG.email is invite-only for now. Only invited Steam and Discord accounts can sign in. Open sign-up comes later.

Step 1: Use Your Steam or Discord Account

GG.email has no passwords. You create your account and sign in with Steam or Discord. Other platforms can't create an account or sign you in; you link them after you've signed in.

Step 2: Sign In

  1. Go to inbox.gg.email/login
  2. Choose Steam or Discord, and use the account you were invited with
  3. Approve the request on Steam or Discord
  4. The first time, confirm that you are 18 or older and accept the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy
Note: Your first sign-in creates your GG.email account. You can link more gaming accounts afterwards.

Connecting Gaming Accounts

Once you're signed in, you can link more gaming accounts. Each one you link adds its addresses to your account.

  • Steam - Sign in or link. Gives an address for your SteamID64, plus one for your Steam custom URL if you've set one
  • Discord - Sign in or link
  • Twitch - Link only. Your address works as both .twitch and .ttv
  • Battle.net - Link only. Gives your BattleTag address, plus one for each World of Warcraft character
  • Bungie.net - Link only
  • Epic Games - Link only
  • Lichess - Link only

How to Connect Additional Accounts

  1. Sign in to your GG.email inbox
  2. Open your profile settings and go to Platforms
  3. Choose to link a platform
  4. Select the platform you want to connect
  5. Approve the request on that platform

You can link more than one account from the same platform, for example two Steam accounts.

Link both Steam and Discord: you get an extra 250 MB of storage on any plan, for good, and a second way to sign in if you ever lose access to one of them.

Your Addresses

You don't make up addresses yourself. Each one comes from a gaming account you have linked and verified, and they all deliver to your inbox.

Address Format

Your addresses follow this pattern:

[your-name].[platform]@gg.email

Examples:

  • gamername.steam@gg.email
  • streamer.twitch@gg.email, also reachable as streamer.ttv@gg.email
  • hero#1234.battlenet@gg.email
  • arthas.area52.us.wow@gg.email (character, realm and region)

Mail to the same address at @goodgame.email arrives in the same inbox. There is no limit on how many addresses you can have, on any plan.

The Free plan includes:
